NAPS WINS INTERCOL, FIRST TIME IN FIFTEEN YEARS!

An unofficial report by Me!

The crowd started building by about 2:30 for the 4:00 match of Naps versus Princes Town senior comprehensive.

By 3:00 the crowd is getting into full swing for what was a very unpredictable match.

At 4:00 the match is kicked off and is on it's way. Within five seconds the ball is in P town's net but this was not a goal due to it being made in a free kick (or something like that, Football is not my first sport!).

During the first half there are many attacks on goal and near goals by P Town, but to the relief of all the Naps supporters they are not successfull. Naps has a few near goals also but P Town's defense is fierce.

By second half the supporters on both sides wanted a goal badly and defense on both teams tightened. The game goes into over time and about five minutes before time Naps nails one in! The supporters go ecstatic as the stands bounce up and down under the weight of the bouncing supporters.

Five minutes later Naps is victorious at intercol for the first time in fifteen years 1-0!

All go home happy with visions of the banners "Naparima Forever" fresh in their minds.
